Edit: I touched up a few places here and there. (like dem clouds)
My tribute to Journey by ThatGameCompany. This game... I just can't describe it... I love it so much! It's truly a work of art - the story and gameplay are both beautiful! I've probably played it 20 times by now, and of course I had to have that awesome white robe hehe
The words in this pic are actually the title of the ending song for Journey.
This. This piece is the epitome of Journey. I just love how foreboding the protagonist is looking at the mountain. It captures exactly how I felt while playing the game. I also really like how the sun just seems to beat against the character, like it's trying to stop him/her/it from reaching his/her/it's goal. It looks good as a phone and/or tablet wallpaper as well. What more can I say about this other than it's exactly what fan art should be? All this geeking out makes me want to play the game again... Which I will. ( The critique has a 100 word minimum, and I had 4 more to go, so I'm typing this.)
Thanks for this piece. I enjoyed the digital art work and concept. I am not sure about the person? in the middle. This may need some modification as I was not sure what the meaning of this was. Maybe redefine this if possible. I enjoyed the colours and the saying at the top. I was born for this is great saying and glad you included this on your piece. Shadowing at the bottom was wonderful. I hope you can keep up the good work and show more of your pieces soon.
ahahah It's fun, you should play it if you get the chance, the experience left me in tears, clutching my ps3 controller to my chest and sobbing like the big baby I am XD
LOL IDK why you haven't faved it - this picture is so old, yet it's also my most popular one?
luckyyyyyyyyyyyyy I wanna play tales of so bad. What's sad is that ToV came out on both Xbox and PS3 in Japan, but only on Xbox in the US... I might just have to break down and import the game...
